Web hosting business?

Web hosting is legal as long as you pay taxes on anything you earn over $500. Although I'm not sure if people will be interested because web hosting is about $30 a year and you can own the right to your own domain name. I think you could create webistes, host them yourself, and make money through ad sense and other advertisements.
