What game system or DS/handheld would you recommend for my 8 year old? He has no system now.?

nintendo wii would be the best. you should get him a mario game like mario kart wii, or super mario galaxy or the best game for the wii super smash bros brawl. brawl is rated t for teen, but its just a fighting game, you would get this game because it has nintendo charaters, and nintendo is mostly for kids.
