What do I do about this?

So I have this wonderful girl who likes but she told me not to tell and said that she wasnt ready for another relationship yet because her boyfriend of like a year had just broke up with her. She told that she wasn't sure what she wanted yet. I'm a freshmen and she's a junior abd she told that she didn't know what she wanted and didn't want to hurt me. I told her that I'd rather be hurt then wonder what would have happened. What should I do? I don't want to wait. I really like this girl and she likes me. Should I just move on or do I wait. Do I take action or just wait for her to be ready. I don't want to have to wait but if I have to then Im willing to because I really like this girl. Someone please help me. Please someone give me some advice.
