National insurance contributions/2 question?

At some time in the future HMRC will send you a letter asking if you would like to pay a sum of money (whatever they quote) to go towards your pension. You are not forced to pay back payments but it is wise to do so, as pension time comes quicker than you think. I only paid Cl 2 for a number of years and now do not receive the full amount each week. Start paying the higher rate, you will benefit in the end.
