What do we think about the editorial direction taken by UK tabloid editors re. page 3 girls?

Is it better that the girls no longer tend to pose (eg, side view, or with an object placed in front of the genital area in order to keep the images printable)? Would you rather see the models wearing their underwear? Or do you prefer to see them , with the genital area barely covered? Is the change of tack a sign of the times?
