10 points, why do people think that just because they are fans of 'hot' celebrities, this somehow proves they?

I really don't see the logic in that, personally. I don't know how liking a particular celebrity can be linked to having a high self esteem. If anything it would probably be the opposite - they feel insecure in themselves and see the celebrity as a role model. Sad considering that celebrities often do not make good role models.
